About Us

Cross-Generation was founded on this passionate ideal: Only when people in a community, large or small, are connected to one another in life-giving ways can they flourish as God intended. We believe the family is the primary social structure for connecting in this way. So the Cross-Generation ministry purpose is:

To restore and develop strong connected families.

What is a connected family?

A connected family is one whose members are connected to each other in growing relationships of mutual knowing, loving and enjoying one another. More>>>

Cross-Generation has developed a framework of simple but profound resources for learning what it means to be a strong, connected family. Click here to learn more about The Connected Family Framework ™

Why is a connected family important?

Families these days are generally less connected than at any time in the history of the world. More>>>

This loss has dramatic negative effects on children. As children grow up ill equipped to conduct close, connected family relationships, family disconnection increases, more children are depressed, more are in trouble, more take their own lives, and less embrace deep and relevant faith and values than ever before.

Cross-Generation develops and restores strong connected families in three primary ways:
  1. We come along side struggling families to restore connection through counseling and coaching
  2. We reinforce and strengthen existing connection in young families through teaching and training.
  3. We prioritize and promote connected family and community building experiences.

Cross-Generation’s Faith Integration Statement

We believe in and are committed to the way of Jesus Christ as described in the written word of God, the Bible. The integration of our faith into our work is inevitable, because our faith fuels our calling to do the work. As believers in this way, we will fully respect the faith perspective of all those we serve, and will never force our beliefs on anyone. However, recognizing the critical role of spirituality as a foundation for growth, we may encourage and gently invite people to consider its role in their lives.
